    Your December games.
Pressure is on to get points in 2 of them
    Leeds/Burnley/Portsmouth//Luton/West Brom/Leeds

Football evens itself out. You've won games this season where you've had minimum possession

I think Warne may be gone after those games

However, he shouldn?t have even been on the pitch to influence the latter stages. He clearly kicked the ball away, the ref was alerted to it, his body language suggested he fancied carding the offender, then he saw it was Bannon and just trotted off!

Our owner wont sack Warne, unless we are in real danger of relegation, which we wont be even after the run of games coming up.

Sometimes football is like that, two games we could and probably should have had maximum points from. Such is life, its not unexpected to get a run of poor results, the law of averages suggests the luck we had in wins against Boro for instance balances itself out with the fine margins of defeat in the last two games.

Whilst it would be nice to think we could pick up a couple of useful transfers in Jan, I'm not banking on it and if we don't I still think we will be fine. We will play a lot worse than that and win in future games. Be just like us to pick up 6 pts against Leeds and Burnley, though suspect it will be 3 or 4.
Admire your optimism Swale. Really hope you’re right but if get 3 or 4 points from Elland Road and Turf Moor I’ll happily buy you a Christmas present.
My prediction 0 points and at least -4 in the GD column.

I disagree (obviously) about the ‘leader’ issue. Imo all successful sides have an established captain/leader/orchestrator. We got away with it a bit last season - probably because of the level we were playing at - and the last two examples at Derby were Keogh and Davies. We’re not short in that position but we are short in terms of on pitch organisation and what used to be called ‘cokum’.

Probably northern, or maybe Liverpudlian, seeing as my late mother used it. Might also be spelled with a ‘k’. Basically implies alertness, awareness and cunning.
Whatever it is…we’re short of it imo.

Feeling deflated after that yesterday. We're conceding too many goals for my liking.

'cokum', that was a regularly used word in our household used frequently by our mother to remind us kids when we were being especially idiotic to use our 'cokum' ie brains. I was often told I'd got no 'cokum', nothing much has changed. 😵*💫

Indeed. I didn’t clarify exactly when my mother used it, but sounds much the same.

worse than that we're giving them the goals, first on wednesday by Nelson's sloppiness, first on saturday same by Osborne. Not sure Zetterman's punch was well advised either
