    Just read

The latest e mail from D4L.

It reads like an article from the club.

    What do they actually do?

Are they still trying to pressure Nelmsy in anyway or has that gone by the by completely?

Hoping more fans will turn up 😄

I've got lots of hopes but if I want hope to become reality I have to do something about it.

I try to read them but they're just full of sh1t. I don't need them to tell me we've won so many games at home and the pitch is looking better. I actually already know these things.

When they tell me the smell that was created when JN's feet were held to the fire I'll show an interest.

Read the email. Didn't seem anything to say. May as well be polite and wait and see how the stadium planning consent goes. Must admit I think they need to find something they can actually do to build their membership.

That's the problem - they've nothing to offer fans right now without the risk of scratching further into their already eroded relationship with the club. Meanwhile the vast majority of fans are happy to let JN get on with it. However if nothing further comes of this stadium thing by middle of 2025 I wonder if the pendulum might start to swing with (as I see it) a bit of reality striking home with fans?

Exactly Deeranged. Don't think we will have the new stadium started by middle of next year. Think if we don't get Campy then we will have to see what our owners want to do. Important , it seems to me, that they keep the team going as well as possible. Cross bridges when we come to them.

Reason I ended my membership was probably this.

I get the impression they want to cozy up to Nelmsy like DSA.....that's not what the fans of this club need.

There were 1 or 2 on the committee who I believe saw it exactly the same way as I do but have either been silenced or no longer on board.

As you say I ken the grass on the pitch is better, I ken results have been decent, I ken we score a lot of goals......I don't need told that in an email.

They have got the square root of nowhere with nelms and hide behind this guardian of A shares.

Nelms will never have an easier ride from any " pressure group "......was it Dennis Healey who said the Conservative boy attacking him was like being savaged by a dead sheep.

Maybe they could post some information on here and on TDB Forum? If they want members to join sending outxstuff to people who aren't members sounds like a good idea, maybe.

    Sadly at the moment. Nothing.
According to the Dundee Football Club Limited Articles of Association the maximum outstanding loans at the end of their financial year must be a maximum of ?50,000.
Dundee Football Club Limited had outstanding loans due to FPS and Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited totalling over ?4,814,000 at 31st May 2023 which were being charged at an interest rate of 1%.
In my opinion this should be ringing alarm bells with the Dee4life board of directors, the DSA committee members and the wider Dundee FC supporters but nobody seems to bother.
Dundee Football Club Limited had total debts of ?2.3 million when they entered administration in October 2010.

The Dee4life board of directors had the opportunity to nominate one of their directors to be elected as their primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors under rules 79-82 of the club’s Articles of Association in December 2022 but several Dee4life directors (not me) bottled it and instead wanted a ‘face to face’ meeting with Nelms.
This had the effect of kicking the can down the road and they never got their ‘precious’ meeting.
