Matchday thread: Luton v Derby 20/12/2024

I will unfortunately miss this one as I'll be spinning round vinyl and styrene platters at a gig all evening. I will follow proceedings via my phone.

An away win would be nice. How much will we miss Cash at the back as it's looking very likely he won't be available?

Play the way we did for 65 against Swansea, 60 against Wendy and 90 versus Pompey and it's a 0-2 away win.

Probably no Cash, which would have been massive in times gone by, but no reason that Phillips can’t step into the breach.
Hopefully PW resists any emotional temptations where Bradley is concerned.
Suspect we may be on for our second away win, but I too am wary of the Swale jinx and we are talking about Derby, so…2-2 and quietly hope for more.

I think Cash is overrated, would be a good one to cash in on and buy better in the summer.

Really? Very surprised at that. I’ll admit to having my doubts at a higher level, but for where we’re at for the foreseeable I think he’s been superb and, from what little I know, great character, temperament and attitude too.

Its tricky isn't it, Luton not having the best of times since their relegation, but derby ahve a habit of stopping other teams runs, whether they are losing or winning ones!! I'm going to be bold though and say 2-1 to the Rams! Come on Santa please?
