    Kilmarnock v Aberdeen

Swaddon2 is on gardening leave and the FMB have taken over!

    🤣

Just what we need to get back to winning ways. A trip to Rugby park on Boxing Day to see us take in an ex Aberdeen eleven.

Thelin has to make changes to the starting line up. We can't afford another horror show if we don't want our season to come completely off the rails.

I'd like to see Dante and Palaversa start and MacDonald at the back and even get some young loons on the bench at least.

I honestly have no idea who starts up front though. The confidence of our strikers must be very low at the moment.

I fancy McInnes to heap more misery on us by scudding us 3-0.

Molloy will get absolutely rag dolled by Vassel if the two of them play in this game.

Watkins would rough him up too.

This is absolutely not a game for him. MacDonald has to play in this one.

Surely Jimmy can see that too.

Either way, dont have a good feeling about this one at all.

3 points return from our last 6 games is nothing short of pathetic, equaled only by Ross fkn County in the top flight. And out of the 4 divisions in the in the SFL only Airdrie have a worse return for their last 6 games.
That us unacceptable by any teams standards but sadly I see no evidence that it is going to get any better any time soon. We could be looking at 3 points from a possible 24 after our next two games and Dundee United 6 points closer to us than they are now (easily)
The honeymoon period for Jimmy is well and truly over and unfortunately although we had a decent start under his tenure lets be honest we have never been playing lovely good to watch football and we rode our luck a bit in a few of the earlier games. But that being said every team needs a bit of luck.
As it is now, us (and Jimmy) have been found out and the other teams have easily figured it out how to play against us as we do appear to be a "one trick" pony with zero plan B or C
Ruby needs to be dropped as he is worse than a bomb scare and sadly I see his presence making Molloy a bag of nerves. Mcdonald for now needs to be the first name on the team sheet but why he is left sitting on the bench is a mystery to me.
Sokler needs binned, Nisbet needs to be returned to sender. Ambrose needs to find another profession as he will never be football player.
Why not give young Fletcher Boyd a run out canna be any worse than the current "first choice"

Big, BIG two games on the road coming up but sadly I predict fk all from any of the two of them but hope that I am wrong, will take any win but just canna see it.
January transfer window massive for us, hope that Colgate teeth and the FMB back JT as we need to be making big changes as currently we are simply not good enough

Has there been any word on the fitness of Devlin?

Seemed to pick up a knock or aggravated his existing problem on Saturday, which saw him go off to be replaced by Topi.

Times like these when we miss a Derek Young in the squad to cover all positions.
    😂

I just hope if he is injured, that Leven has Jimmy well warned that Shayden can't do a job for us in a defensive position. 😂

    ^^ All of that

seem to recall Derek was also always available to wheel out to the Press to parrot the someone will get a doing when we click line.
    Of course they never did.

Re Devlin - has Thelin ever played 3 at the back at previous clubs? Get McDonald next to the bombscare two?
    Or Polvara right back?

Devlin’s the sort of cheil to play through the pain, I suspect he has been for a while but we can’t be furthering injuring the guy, especially on that abomination of a pitch.

Heard a few folk suggesting Jamie McGrath at right back

Sure the loon would do his best, but far from ideal.

If we go three at the back, who goes right wing back if Devlin is injured?

Agree about Devlin playing through the pain, but at some point it catches up with him and a bit of interest added for good measure.

Here's hoping Santa finds us a few gems for Xmas .

    Sigma Olomouc?

Obviously we need a couple of utility players - possibly in the Derek Young mould, but he was never a full back.

Vassel could rag doll pretty much anyone in the league and possibly a few prop forwards if the mind took him - boy's a unit.

I would rather see us try and keep the ball against their long ball and possibly let Palaversa sit in front of the back 4?

I wasn't being serious about Derek Young min. Ross McRorie type players are a better type to have in the squad/team.

You can play any player in any position when struggling for bodies, but as we know to our cost, it can go horribly wrong.

Shaymo at wing back being a prime recent example.

I don't think Jimmy is a gambler and bar injury to Devlin, I expect he will stick with our back line and tinker with things more in the middle of the park.

    Ah. Whooshed

To be fair Kilmarnock have some half decent wide players for me we have to keep the ball against them or they will by-pass the midfield and get straight at our ropey defence whosoever is at right back. This means not playing Shinnie AND Nilsen and getting Clarckson further forward.

Can see it being a high scoring defeat to be honest.
