Haaland would do well to have more than 3 goals for Milwall this season starting every game, seen about 4 games of them and they were a tough watch. It?s been a bad move football wise for him. He?s not going to come back to Notts on loan, Milwall will want his wages paying and we?re not going to stump up 10k a week, a team at the top of L1 might risk it if they think his goals will get them in the championship.

    No thanks.
    Learnt a harsh lesson.
Money not the be all & end all. You can't buy happiness.
The grass isn't always greener on the other side & don't listen to the bull from your agent. His Agent only interested in lining his own pocket.
Also the club said last week, they thought the time was right to sell.

His confidence could be shot at Millwall, as he seems to be a player that thrives on that.

Money sometimes is the be all and end all to some people. Playing football is a short career, not many go into coaching and managing at the end of it. Why do you think many players are going to Saudi?

Thankfully only some football fans think this way.

I can?t imagine the recruitment team reeling this off as reasons not to sign a player.

If Macca becomes an option for a loan until the end of the season, I?d be snapping Millwalls hand off. We have no idea if his confidence is shot, that?s an assumption. We would get a player that knows the way we play and would add genuine quality in an area of the pitch that we are crying out for.

Another assumption that bothers me is the one where Millwall will want his 10k wages covered in their entirety. We have no idea what Millwall would want. Let?s not forget the player himself has some say.

I wasn't the only one who was surprised a champ club came in for him and I think the club did sell at the right time. He was always going to take a little time to bed in that very high level. There is still a strong chance he will come good and I can't see him going out on loan this season personally. If he was loaned I can't see a situation where Millwall wouldn't want the loaning club to cover at least 50% of his wages and I can't see a situation where they would loan him to a league 2 club. Surely they would loan him to a L1 club to see if he can cut the mustard at that level. He is proven at L2 level. If he is on 10K even at 50% wage contribution I think that would make him comfortably our best paid player by some way which I highly doubt is in our budget. I just can't see a situation this season at least where is back at Notts.

He's bone idle, only scores tap ins and wouldn't fit their style.
The same for Jodi Jones apparently. Bone idle, always falls over, awful attitude, etc. Anyway, who needs JJ at wingback when you've got Elliott Hewitt?

    Fantasy football.

Jatta on the bench playing second fiddle, coming on for 10 or 15 minutes having lost match sharpness.

They're not getting value for money currently. What often happens is that Notts would pay a portion of his wages, just to give him game time.
