Not that I think he will go there but are they going to fork out very decent wages that they will have to honour in L1.
They may have some players that have wage reductions in their contracts if relegated but who in their right mind would sign up to that now with them cast adrift.

Agree with pieman, bad optics for the fans if he's sold
    I haven't seen the company's books.

Even on a personal level I can't imagine Plymouth is the best place for a Gambian born Muslim to feel integrated. Visited a couple of times for work and the actual city is bleak. Obviously nearly everywhere else around that neck of the woods is beautiful but not the most progressive areas.

Nottingham and it's proximity to Leicester and Birmingham make it almost the perfect place to settle into a new country with that background.

Doesn't make sense on a football level or a personal level to want to move in January to a team we could potentially be playing next year.

If Jatta is sold this month, we will have sold two key players in January without an adequate replacement for either. If that is the eventual outcome, then the answer to the above would appear to be a resounding no and the fan base would have every right to be disappointed.

I hope it is just conjecture - over to you, Notts.
I swear you were saying that we had no cover for Langstaff when he was going to Millwall. Of course we?ll be disappointed but this is how we progress.
The owners business model isn?t making promotion the priority. It?s making promotion a byproduct of buying quality players for cheap, getting the best out of them and selling them for a fee that they?re happy with or keeping them if that fee isn?t met. The money then gets reinvested.

Couldn?t agree more. Anyone who thinks the owners will turn down ?750k or more for a single player are naive.

We've made a lot of money in the last 18 months starting from the LW and his backroom staff fee and apart from the AJ fee where has this money been reinvested then apart from the beloved Nest and paddle courts and pitch??
Fancy pitches and paddle courts and packed out fan zones don't win you promotion.
Certainly hasn't been reinvested in the playing squad YET as we know for a fact we aren't getting a seasoned pro to replace Crowley like we need instead we are expecting basically kids with barely a professional game in men's football to replace him and we have been crying out for god knows how long sine Macca left for another striker which so far hasn't materalised.

That ignores the fact they?ve put in over ?20m up to now though, surely they are aloud to recoup some monies.
Jattas the new Macca, that?s obvious but granted they need another one with how it?s gone with Scott.

Read the rest of his post . The background is already explained , and alludes to nothing more sinister than regional demographics .

Yes, Gambian and Muslim. Or is the mere mention of someone perhaps preferring to be in an area of a country they've been in for shy of a year with more people who share their religion and nationality now unacceptable?

    Tit.
