I?m going to put my head above the parapet here.

I think Jatta is a good player and I?d be sorry to see him go but I?ve got real doubts about his ability to play at championship level, that?s a whole other ball game to where he is at the minute. If we could get a million (sounds daft even saying that) for him and bring Macca in on loan for the rest of the season, whilst trusting the radar to replace in the summer, I?d snap your hand off.

Macca, in front of this defence and midfield and alongside Didzy as a front two, would have an absolute field day.

The lack of ambition on this site is staggering. We are a big club and have to potential to easily be bigger than Plymouth , yet people think we can continue to flog off all our assets. Crowley and Nemane yes as both lost heart in club and good money. Macca, big blow and his careers is now in reverse but again time was running out for us, however Jatta is a step too far though and the " model " simply won't be able to replace him in time to push for promotion. So no please no

After watching SMs interview I don?t think he?s going anywhere.

Doubt many want our best players to leave but many realise that every player has its price and shows the benefits of our recruitment
I wouldn't say Debbie Downer is a well known general phrase. It's a fairly obscure 80s comedy reference, a bit like calling someone Victor Meldrew's brother.

Not a fan of Saturday Night Live then. More mainstream 2000s onwards than obscure 80s.

I suspect they displayed similar characteristics

I thought they signed players based on the comments on this forum! :

Debbie Downer lives just a few doors down from me, not too good at the moment, think she is on her uppers!!!

And for those who doubt our owners, read the Morcambe in the Mire thread

I would bet a tenner that there isn't one person that doubts the owners integrity and financial vision for the club (cancel that bet, there is one!) what a lot of us are champing at the bit about is selling our best players to try and achieve something that is years (?) away. Isn't it possible to continue the process in L1? More EFL money, probably bigger gates would pay the bigger wages (don't know about that but I'll throw it in). Keep the strongest team we can, get promoted from a weakish division and go again?

I would expect we will keep Jatta in this window. A move to a side that looks doomed in the Championship really does not make too much sense IMO, especially given we are well within the running to join them in League One next year. I am almost certain the brothers will be less than impressed that any bid and specifically the size of the bid have been made public.
