I would like to think BT it might occur in our lifetime. I can understand why a draw against Leeds is an acceptable result but I worry that we don't have the players right now to change our approach. Without a proper striker we are so limited. Was it too risky to bring on Koleosho
and Barnes for the last 15mins?

It?s the mentality thing for me gentlemen

If I asked you to go and play a game with no intention of creating anything because I thought the opposition were better than us in transition etc where would we be.

Bt , Ballcock and others did you ever at any level of football put you boots on just to get through a game ( I?m guessing you tried to win all games ) , we have a manager who?s philosophy is contain and stop the opposition playing.

Before you jump up and down that maybe acceptable in games - here?s the thing not all of them - in the last few months the pattern is there for all to see , the worry is how do you break that , it?s only me but I
Don?t like the mindset it?s weak not strong.

My last thing on this subject it?s football and there are many ways to win a game ( remember that saying ) my real worry is we are not trying to win them

I can't agree army88 because we win away with regularity. We seem to have a monkey on our back playing at Turf Moor and I find it hard to understand why.
I'm sure Supersub6 will be along to confirm it but we have the best away record in the Championship but seem to freeze at home. It's odd.

Not only the best away record, there is only Middlesbrough who have scored more goals away from home. It's a funny old game.

Trust me when I say it?s a bad habit to be totally reliant on defence whatever anyone says - yes we do better away from home - but the manager has control of how we play - his instructions were not to lose in front of a full house of paying people expecting us the team sitting third in the league to have a go ( I didn?t say win - nothings guaranteed) at winning the game - I really don?t care what anyone else thinks if they think no shots in a top of the table clash against a footballing team ( not blocking the hole up ) is acceptable- I don?t.

Interestingly Sub in the last let?s say 6 home games how many shots on target did we have and how many touches inside the oppositions 18 yard box if you have the stats available.

Last 6 home games we have had 18 shots on target and 28 off target --------an average of 7.66 shots per game, scoring 3 goals.
In our previous 8 home games we had 26 shots on target and 44 off target ---an average of 8.75 shots per game, scoring 12 goals.

Our opposition in last 6 home games have had 15 shots on target and 18 offf target ----an average of 5.5 shots per game scring 2 goals.
Previous 8 home games 14 shots on target and 27 off target -----an average of 5.12 shots per game scoring 2 goals.

Away from home in 15 matches we have had 52 shots on target and 63 off target ----an average of 7.66 shots per game, scoring 21 goals.
Our opposition have had 31 shots on target and 64 off target -----an average of 6.33 shots pergame , scoring 5 goals

I don't keep a check on touches in opposition box ----sorry.

The number of shots on or off goal is ridiculously low imo. The season after we won the 1st div didn't we score over a 100 goals SS?
When you hope to get promotion surely you have to have next season in mind. We are a mile away from the bottom teams in the EPL from what I've seen. It's hard to see what the club has in mind.

Me & my best political adversary sinkov have a long running theory my mate, ALK/Pace do not have a plan, they just fly by the seat of their pants and hope for the best.

    It seems to work too#
