    Ex-Millers player Greg Halford aged 40 years, has signed for his 22nd football club.

    Currently a Blyth Spartans player, he has gone on loan to Bishop Auckland, on a
    end-season-loan.
    Bishop Auckland are in the Northern Premier League One East, the 8th tier of
    English football.
    Halford started his football career with Colchester United in 2001.

    How many games did he play for the Millers. Who signed him Eric? was it the fat buddah? If I recall he was involved in that 3-3 draw versus Derby.

    Greg Halford - Came to the Millers free transfer July 2015 - 35 apps with 2 goals.
    Time with Millers 2015 - 2017.

    Signed by Steve Evans, who made him captain, but after 5 games, 4 losses & 1 draw, Steve Evans
    made Lee Frecklington captain.

    EX-Millers Manager Neil Redfearn Resigns at Non-League Club Farsley Celtic

    Ex-Millers manager Neil Redfearn [59] has resigned as manager at non-league club
    Farsley Celtic.

    Redfearn has been in charge for less than 1 month at the National League North club,
    with the club lying in 22nd in the league table.

    The club have been unable to play any games at their home ground, this season,
    after the grass surface was removed at the end of the 2023-24 season, with delays
    in laying of a new artificial pitch.

    The club are playing their home games at Buxton's home ground.

    Last October 2024 there were issues at the club, with late payments to players wages.

    Last month, a group of Farsley Celtic supporters announced plans to boycott home
    games at Buxton.
