Humphries is a massive loss. We missed him against Wednesday until we turned the game round by switching to the front foot,
    thanks to Edwards

We aren't going to be as solid without Humphries, guaranteed. We shall have to start moving the ball quicker and getting into teams by playing more on the front foot, if we are to start turning draws into wins

I can't agree with you about Foster BT, he was better than most. I don't think he received a decent pass in the first 25 mins, and this was not due to lack of movement on his part.
JJ was a real disappointment but with Roberts, Cullen, Egan, and Humphries back the rest of this season will not be all doom and gloom.

I agree bc that it is somewhat churlish to pick out one individual when the team display as a whole was inadequate. Provided we put things right against Cardiff I will get over the disappointment. Humphries injury incurred in training seems unfortunately quite serious and he will be missed because Pires is far from solid defensively.

At last someone who watches what players do not just : did he score ?: comments.

You like me see foster make runs and offer many times ( I posted this a few weeks back when at left wing ) he runs unselfishly into channels but the ball isn?t delivered until eventually he realises they aren?t going to give him it , since he comes shorter to get involved and he can?t score from deep hence he?s garbage ( for some ) .

The midfield yesterday offered nothing to the front man - an odd high ball against two big centre backs and a very quick full back to clean up

However if I can see it you can see it and many others why can?t Parker.

Calm down girls, we made 8 changes from the previous one in a game what meant little to the club

By looking at the body language of most of the players, especially the likes of Esteve, Brownhill and a few more, we didn't want to be there and treated the game as a friendly (manager included)

Financially to any club going for promotion the FA Cup is a hindrance at the business end of the season. Promotion could be literally worth millions to a player financially, he wouldn't want to pick up an injury playing on a meadow against a bunch of Preston thugs

I know to you oldies like BT who grew up in the 40s 😂 the FA Cup was the behole and end all of the sporting calender. Unfortunately due to the riches of the Premier league the Cup doesn't matter to the likes of Burnley, Leeds and Sheffield United who have all got beaten to lesser opposition, the big prize is promotion

It appears like Parker shares your opinion ballcock. We said in the pub yesterday before a ball was kicked Parker had chucked the tie. I feel bad for the thousands of Burnley fans who paid good money to watch our second string get leathered.

Sad but true BC.The white flag had been raised before a ball was kicked yesterday.A win on Tuesday is now imperative.

Anyone dreaming of promotion... half this team are not top half Championship quality. The team is successful on young legs chasing everything. We lack composure, quality, nonce, football intelligence.
The Premiership have the cream of the world, the fastest, strongest and estuite players playing for world class management teams, instilling world class tactics..
we have at best 4 players who could even compete at the lowest level of the prem..
So those of you wishing for this lot of crap to get promotion this time, you realise there are 2 options we spend 200+ million and we have a fantastic requirement on our return, or we become the whipping boys... getting less points than Southampton this term.. which do you think they choose?
