    Shelvey

Most with myself included wanted him to be given a start, but what a huge disappointment.

He strolled around the pitch like he was on his holidays, his fitness levels are way off it and imo he is miles off it.

He gives us no energy or drive and looks like his legs have gone. My advice to Pace is stay well clear of Turkey, we got Redmond from there and that hasn't turned out well

I agree b-c. I have been an advocate of playing him. He was non-existent yesterday with no influence on the match.

    Very disappointing.

Parker seems to think a miss mash of chucked together not match fit players will win you a crucial FA Cup tie. It won?t.

    Parker did the right thing

We are now 3rd from top with a handful of games left and a 120 million prize money up for grabs, we certainly didn't want to put that on the line for the FA Cup.

On point Ballcock , glad we didn't risk injury to essential players like Trafford , Roberts , Egan-Riley, Cullen & Anthony, Tuesdays game is far more important than a run in a cup that's lost its magic and realistically we were not likely to win.

In light of the last two posts, I can think of a better four letter word than 'fans' to describe the 7,000 who spent good money travelling to Deepdale to support Burnley in that 5th Round FA Cup game, it's ...................'mugs'.
