Reading from a very well balanced Spanish media source this morning that Trump has emboldened the EU countries to organise a seismic defence change in strategy. Billions to be spent on defence and no money’s going across the Atlantic. Apparently Team GB can join the party but need to cut ties with the US. I can’t see Starmer and Bonnie King Charlie doing that. Somewhat incredulously I see Starmer giving an envelope to Trump with a written invitation to hit London for another State visit.
