Couldn't say it was a defensive line up today, but second half today we got what we deserved, I actually think it was a combination of the players, managers subbies and injuries taking their toll. That is the brightest trap has been in a while, think he got taken off to early, and sent the wrong message, but even before the changes the players stopped doing what they were doing first half, loss of Holt and ferry big blow, no disrespect to Stephenson who did well. And lack of replacement for sibbald was a big problem. Dochertys abseenses keep hurting us, we need a replacement who is available, I'd have put bubunski on.

One other thing I'd say, we've been crying out for pace in the team for what feels like about 10 years! Would have made big difference to have a pacey guy up top second half to get ball up pitch.

Free week might be blessing for injuries.
    Agree with every word

subs killed us yesterday, that felt that a defeat however its another point in the quest to stay tap 6

subs cost us that, i thought Trap had a great game and didnt see him tiring from where i was stood, Kai had a stinker, not too sure hes up to this level, done very little this season when featured and then bringing on Jort rather than Babunski or Fiorini in midfield was f cuking mind blowing

I think Babunski would have been a good shout but fans were singing for VDS when he came on, I'm not convinced fiorini or babunski would have stemmed the tide with the side overall looking knackered, unfortunately once they got the opener there was an inevitable feeling from there

Fotheringham didn't do enough when on

Central mid was the big problem, with Sibbald tiring, Stephenson covering left back, no Doc, options were limited overall

Main disappointment this week is still wednesdays robbery for me, we'd have taken 4 pts from Motherwell home and Aberdeen away

Should really be sitting with 7 (5 at worst) and in 3rd place

The Kai sub is defensive. He was brought on to track runners, ever noticed he only starts against the old firm ? Fiorini must be thinking why did i come to this club (i called it at the time he wouldnt play) Goodwin just wants hardworking scrappers in the midfield, no flair allowed.

Any idea on injuries and likely timescales? We are looking very lightweight at the moment! Holt deciding to up and leave, has really damaged us....and Docs injuries have been unbelievable to say the least! Just hoping that the magic sponge is busy this week, there derby match could really decide if we get top 6 or not!

In the right set up i think VDS is very effective. Fotherham on tbe other hand cannot control a football. Rotten standard of player and needs replaced asap. Why he is still here but Miller Thomson isn't baffles me. Well i know why but i dont agree he should have been sent away he could still do a job for us.

I don't think we should get too down or negative, first season back, a year ago we were playing qp, airdrie and partick in a 3 game week, we just played Motherwell, Hibs and the Sheep and are disappointed to draw away to the latter , and should be sitting 3rd today but for Mr McDermid (pr1ck)

There were positives yesterday, the sheep have spent money strengthening an already strong squad as they can just now financially and it showed late on

Trap played well which is good going into the derby and games after, Middleton done well too I thought, Sibbald getting a good hour under his belt

Luca filling in very well at left back, Sevelj was good again before tiring

Manny and Graham looked decent enough together for most part in a 4

We have a couple weeks to hopefully get more fitness into a couple of them and any niggling injuries to get back, Ferry etc

We can still have a good end to season before hopefully some more good recruitment in the summer

Its definitely not all doom and gloom but i think the manager is costing us points now where he was making better changes to the team previously.well... I think so anyway.
