    Gordon - Appeal

Howe has confirmed we'll appeal Gordon's red card.

I didn't think it was worth it but I've just seen they've shown the footage of the Brighton player with full handfull of Gordon's shirt, pulling him over.

Makes me wonder if we might get it over-turned.

Funny how they applied the letter of the law to Gordon but not to their player on a yellow who pulled one of our players back to stop us breaking.

I genuinely don't think it was a red-he pushed him to get him off and made contact with his face as opposed to 'raising his hands' to strike him.

We'll get nowhere, though-they'll say that as contact was made with the face, it was violent conduct.

Stupid reaction even if it was understandable-Taylor had been allowing their little pulls all game.

They will have to run it by the cartel first.

IMO the best course would be to argue that a 3 match ban was too harsh. Won't be overturned I don't think even though the Brighton player had his hand so far up Gordon's shirt it was like watching Rod Hull and Emu.

    Waste of time!

Spend youre time on something that can make a difference. And appeal wont change anything.

    He's had a mixed season and hasn't hit his straps consistently...but I wouldn't say he's been ****e, imo, Phoney.

It's times like these we need to back our players.

I agree about the final, though. My expectations are about as low as you can get.

Just bored of the wild irregularities in refereeing that persist across the league season after season.

That push was after the whistle. It wasn't intentional in terms of being to the head. It was above the neck but how many times do we see VDV do that to players and no get even a yellow.

It's so boring and I'm tired of talking about it. Such bull$hit

Now appears we're not going to appeal so he will miss final.

As Rag said, how many times do we see VDV do it.
