Half time and what to say... at least we are not loosing... few positives in there...we ain't conceded because Grimsby are not very good, had an amazing chance to score ourselves but Whittaker screwed that up.. nothing much else happening... just 2 things second half, take Palmer off free kicks and corners and never let Gordon take another throw

Pitch is awful. Slater said there is some disease going around affecting the grass everywhere, could explain why some have said how bad Notts 's is after the money spent last summer

Gordon actually threw one of them straight out of play!!! I can't remember him finding one Notts player with a throw

Clearing in our own box, holding up long passes into him then closing down their defenders and keeper
It's stuff fans don't necessarily notice but team mates love in a forward

We are not playing the conditions, the pitch is awful, we need to move the ball faster into the final 3rd and then try and play a bit of football... if we keep trying to play out from the back or hesitating on the ball we will be turned over and concede.

Jatta came out and found a pocket of space at one stage, opened up loads of options but played it backwards almost losing it and momentum was lost.

I would be pumping balls long, push up and fight for every second ball, play it wide, let Tsar/Bedeau and Gordon/Macari get it into the box...
