    I feel exactly the same. I voted Labour for the sole reason they were the most likely to beat the Tory. If the most likely to beat the Tories had been the Lib Dems or the Greens, my vote would have gone to them in a heartbeat.

    That's not the case though is it, the policy is those that can work shouldn't get benefits. And the war machine needs feeding unfortunately.

    One thing I like about Australia's electoral system is that we have ranked choice voting everywhere. I can show complete disdain for the major parties while still showing preference for one over the other. I wish every democracy had this, it's kinda great.

    Is that correct? I can name quite a few countries that are aligned with the UK on their treatment of Trump. It's possibly not the right thread for that discussion, but I just wanted to correct an inaccuracy.
