Cracking player who is out of favour at Millwall. ?1 mill for Jatta, ?500k for Langstaff. Win win

Our conversion rate compared to the amount of chances we create is just not good enough. Yesterday was another game we should have won easily, but once again we have lost. Next week against Crewe Jatta will be away, so it looks as though Traore may get the nod up front. Having seen him play I dont hold out much hope on him being able to bridge that gap either.. We cant rely on Didzy to play the full 90 again, so in the event i would use him as an impact sub..
In the summer i would sell Jatta and bring Macca back at a cut price, and play him up front with Traore..

If only if it was that easy Durham
I suspect Macca would come back if he could but if Millwall decide to sell him they'd try to get an auction going with L1 clubs etc

There's no chance of Millwall ever getting back what they paid for Macca. They will be lucky to get 250k for him in view of the season he has just had. Notts will have money in the bank from the potential sale of Jatta, and the 400k they received for Crowley to fund a return to Notts.
I dont think there will too many league one clubs prepared to gamble with that sort of money... The goal scoring chances that Notts create would be the ideal place for Macca to resurrect his career..

We should have tried to get him on loan in January.

Can't see him taking a big wage cut and I can't see us paying him what he's on at Millwall.

I can see him taking a big pay cut when his contract expires.
You are only as good as you're last game they say - and his was a couple of months ago [still injured or left entirely out of the squad.]

We could get him on a season long loan and partially pay his wages. We have the funds to do that..

I'm not sure how long he signed up for but can't imagine he's too happy with the way it's working out.

I think a higher priority for the money would be a replacement for Rodrigues/Crowley.
