Just been watching Wrexham v Stockport ..some quality players .. ANYWAY ....
Anyone notice how many English football clubs have recently been bought out by USA owners ?
By pure coincidence, anyone notice how many clubs in the lower leagues have been spending astronomical, never before seen, amounts of money on players and wages.
By pure coincidence, anyone notice how many $Billions (if not Trillions) of dollars that recently removed (USA) Democrats cannot account for in their accounts.
Remember Abramovich , who was 'removed from Chelsea' because he was apparently using ill gotten gains from the Russian tax payers..? (small fry by comparison to today ... Chelsea?s wage bill must now be astronomical).

Dantpen,
No conspiracy theory just straightforward economics.
Football is an 'economic staple'.
If some investors bought into an English football league club, say, in 2025 and there followed a worldwide slump/crashing of economies in 2026, said investors and their English football league club would theoretically not be affected.
Take note RUFC. You know it makes sense.
Up The Millers!!!
Every one of OP's posts so far, along with their username suggests they are a conspiracy theorist.
A Canadian friend of mine said to me years ago that the last thing that football needs is American owners. Regardless of where the money comes from the match day experience will change he said.
He gave an example of American football and the way working class people were unable to buy season tickets anymore. The best that they can do is a family day at a match per season because ticket prices rise do much that they can?t afford to go.
He is a Manchester United fan and goes once or twice per season which normally coincides with family visits back to see his wife?s family in Rotherham.
He said all of this before Manchester United had American owners!
It's a pretty safe bet our next owners will be American.
Football ( soccer) in the UK is going like football in the USA
White owners ( generally speaking) and black players on the pitch
