A far cry of an occasion when we had to go to Champions Wigan on the final day of the season in 2016 and have to win the game in order to secure a play off place .

Backed by over 4k fans we gave a scintillating display and won the game 4-1 despite falling behind early doors .

Is it really 9 years ago ?

How times have changed for both club's has it happens .

Well mate am guin to Wigan forra pyss up wi the lads. Had it penned in since January. Whether we can be arsed guin to the game is another thing! Hence the way things have panned out of late, but like you say, a far cry from 2016 when this club and it's fans were buzzing in anticipation and had a good side with quality players.

Feck me, can't believe it were 9 years ago!

Can’t fault the effort this half we are still shaky at the back but much better balanced going forward with the two recent passengers benched.
Special mention to young Flavell we may well have uncovered a gem.

Only saw the second half and thats the first ive seen for several weeks.

Has anything changed under Conor?
Well not in my opinion from what I saw.
Its a point away from home and thats OK but the simple fact is that this group of players dont gel into an effective team and wholesale changes are needed this summer.
Well sell what we can and recruit to take another few steps backwards.

I cant feel optimistic or see an end to this dreadful downward spiral.

I watched the second half but found it incredibly boring , the goal we conceded wasn't great but the young keeper will make mistakes and he should really be shouting and instructing MDG as what to do , it is what it is with young keepers .

I suspect the season can't end quickly enough for many including myself .
