    Newcastle celebrations!

Do not get me wrong, I have no problems with Newcastle winning the Caraboa Cup but do feel that the celebrations are a little over the top. After all, it isn?t like they have won the Champions League or the Premier League. God knows what would happen if they did. I realise that they have not won a domestic trophy since 1955 and do not begrudge them their success but as I have said, a little over the top.

Don't blame them myself. The way its going with us we could have an open bus parade if we beat Sunderland on Saturday.

I have to say I felt much the same. Sky and BBC went right OTT in their coverage and comments. I suppose there can’t have been anything else happening in the world meriting news coverage.

Good for them but it was really it is a piss pot trophy and I thought I was to going to scream if I heard the words ‘70 years’ again’.

Didn't watch the victory celebrations so can't comment on them being OTT. What I do know is that it must have been a massive relief for a club of their size to finally land all be it the lesser of three major domestic trophies on offer.

Fair play. They must have had a right old time of things. If we'd landed our first League Cup victory since 1966 I dare say I'd most likely still be on the way home from Wembley via every pub along the way.

Celebrate what you can when you can and however you like so long as no one gets hurt, life's miserable enough as it is at times you may as well make the most of enjoying yourself when the opportunity arises.

Sky and the BBC wouldnt go to half the trouble for us. There are favorites, always have been, whether its getting an England call up or any advertising for the Prem.
