It's been all over the news that the club made a ?2.8M loss, that it was expected and that it's expected to improve in next year's accounts. Would be interesting to hear what point you're making here.
Try not to slate John Nelms too much.
I enclose the Dundee Football Club Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2024 which contain some changes from last year?s annual accounts. https://d3g6oc0sv9dsl4.cloudfront.ne...ounts-2024.pdf

Thanks Islay. As a very very small minority shareholder I don't seem to be on any official communication system. This is not new. Maybe Dee4life could email their copy to their members. Our owners are still putting cash into the club, at least, that's the way I read the situation.
According to the latest accounts FPS and DBPHL are not charging interest on their loans.
Included in the notes to the annual accounts is details of the Dundee CIC Academy which in its first year of activity cost ?143,739. (2023 Nil).
The total debts payable to FPS and DBPHL in the 2024 annual accounts are now ?7,141,041 (?4,438,880 2023).
More to follow.
I enclose the Dundee FC Ltd annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2023 which gives a breakdown of the rental payments due for Dens Park for the current year, next year, the next five years and the total amount payable until the end of of the lease. https://d3g6oc0sv9dsl4.cloudfront.ne...ounts-2023.pdf
In the annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2024 there is no breakdown of the above amounts payable for the rent of Dens Park.
The number of staff has increased from 68 to 80 having previously increased from 59 to 68 during the Championship winning season ending 31st May 2023.
The losses in this year’s annual accounts have fallen by over ?100k despite the cost of Wages and Salaries increasing by over ?1 million.
John Nelms stated that they increased the staff to remain in the top 6 of the Premier League.
However he fails to state that the Club were paying two sets of managerial salaries thanks to Nelms falling out with the manager Gary Bowyer which resulted in Gary Bowyer and his Assistant Manager being sacked. They were receiving a 12 month rolling contract which had to be paid.
In my opinion there are too many staff employed by Dundee Football Club particularly in the backroom staff dealing with playing matters.
This season’s team photograph consisted of 24 players and 15 backroom staff which is far too many especially when we are making a ?2 million plus losses despite playing in the riches of the Premier League.
Dosent feel like the fans club now.
11m last season, 2m this season, 2nd bottom, not much in assets, new stadium being built, what a time to be a funter. anyone know who started the fire?
It has never felt like the fans club since Nelms took over from Scot Gardiner as Chief Executive despite having no previous experience of running a Scottish Professional football club.
Nelms then adopted a ‘divide and rule’ policy.
At the Dee4life AGM on 1st February 2025 a former Chairman of Dee4life told the members present that it was very difficult trying to deal with John Nelms in 2014 despite Dee4life still having both their Primary and Secondary representatives on the Dundee Football Club board of directors.
Eleven years later things have got a lot worse with Nelms refusing to speak to the Dee4life board of directors.
