Why were some prats clapping the team off at the end, we've just lost a crucial game to probably end our hopes of automatic promotion and you've got some fools clapping them for it. Why are our fans expectations so low, is losing 1-0 to Colchester acceptable now.

I'm not so sure, we seem to have "one of those days" on a very regular basis. By that I mean we mostly dominate games and should be ahead, but despite having a lot more possession and chances we find ourselves a goal down. Over the season it has happened far too often to simply put it down to bad luck. Add to that we don't often win against the top teams, and it all suggests we are close but something is missing.

I supused no one mentioned the 24 hours less recovery time both Notts and MKD had compared to other team's both had bad results today. It ain't over till it's over UPies.

Because some prat?s know that the season isn?t over.. it?s easy to get behind the team when they are doing well and I feel this squad has enough credit to be backed regardless.

Shouldn't have lost yesterday. We gave them a goal really. Shocking defending. I've said before we lack pace front & back & that is the only thing that put us under the cosh yesterday. Platt & Bedeau took yellows because they were gonna be out paced. But I don't think it would make o e jolt to our play if we had it. We get in good positions but instead of doing the obvious, we have to pass. That's our downfall.

Firstly, most attackers are quicker than defenders? even in the top leagues so getting pacey defenders is a challenge that borderlines impossible. I also don?t feel that we get outpaced often so not overly worried.
Secondly, the whole passing thing relies on all the players being unbelievably confident with ball at feet? it?s easier for us to spot passes from the stands and on TV than it is at pitch level.

Notts have a clear identity, probably for the first time since Warnock. This is something we have craved as fans with many bemoaning the scattergun approach of the majority of sides/owners over the last 20-30 years. I think we should be more proud of what?s being achieved with the year on year progression on and off the pitch.

There are good things around the corner, whether that?s 2025 or 2026. It will happen under the current ownership.

We were delightful for the first 40 minutes,we were out of sight football-wise except that we just could not get the ball in the net, we huffed and puffed around their half but not capable of scoreing. This situation has happened time and again this season....facsimile, where we should have been 1 or 2 up. Is this a coincidence?,bad luck? or are we just not smart enough?. Is Jatta the man?, that is a bit of a mystery to me, he has missed an awful lot of "easy" goals although his hold up play is pretty good and he is useful for a defending corner/free kick but he has not got a killer instinct.
I can honestly see the auto's fading fast and the play-offs looming,Jones is a worry, he was back yesterday for a cameo but when he is back in the side for 90 it makes me cringe everytime he gets tackled in case he is off....again.

Indeed. It just feels we?re constantly prolonging a doomed-to-fail experiment.

Hopefully the club will reassess in the summer and move forwards.
