Not a clue where you get your info from but I read that coffee prices are on the rise.
One good thing is that the price of petrol will fall due to Trumps antics

Trump is a charlatan who is playing with peoples lives and livelihoods. I honestly don't think that he has a clue what he is doing.
He is a greedy selfish fool who doesn't give a toss about anyone or anything, he is way out of his depth

Didn't he say he would stop the war in the east? Russia bombed the **** out of a Ukraine town yesterday killing 30 innocent civilians.
The only thing that will stop Putin is if his military is defeated, or there is a coup and he is hoisted from power, it certainly won't be Trumps diplomacy. Putin won't be lectured to and pushed about by Trump, he will and is playing him like a fiddle

And Beijing says "Pfhuck you Donald Trump" and have just slapped a 125% tariff on all US imports.

Why is coffee going to go up in price? Since 2020, the cost of coffee has already risen about 20% due to increases in demand since the COVID-19 pandemic and decreases in supply due to bad growing years in major coffee-producing countries like Brazil.

Why is coffee suddenly so expensive? Rising Costs for Farmers
From fertilizers to labor to processing equipment, the expenses of growing and harvesting coffee have increased dramatically. Many farmers operate on razor-thin margins, and higher prices are often necessary just to cover their costs and maintain their livelihoods.

Many coffee-producing countries rely on exports, and their economies are tied to the value of their local currency against the US dollar. Currency fluctuations can lead to significant changes in the price of coffee on the global market, often making it more expensive for buyers in importing countries.

Coffee is a crop that thrives in specific conditions, typically in tropical regions known as the "coffee belt." Unfortunately, climate change has made weather patterns more unpredictable, leading to issues like:

Droughts and Floods: These extremes can devastate coffee crops, reducing yields.
Rising Temperatures: Some coffee-growing regions are becoming less suitable for cultivation, forcing farmers to adapt or relocate.
Pests and Diseases: Warmer climates have also led to an increase in coffee plant diseases, such as coffee leaf rust, which can wipe out entire crops. Coffee impacts not just consumers but also the farmers and producers behind every cup.

Steady ballcock, it appears that BT wants the USA to stop spending money on defence and put it into welfare.
Putin will be pushing for that I'm sure.

Google. Just copied and pasted what it said, no idea whether it's true or not, nor am I bothered, the price of a cup of coffee doesn't impinge on my lifestyle.

You really have no idea what's going on over there have you mon ami. You want money spent on welfare, try this, $24 billion given to California to counter homelessness, homelessness continues to rise and no one in California can account for that $24 billion, it's gone, no one knows where.

And that's just one example, this waste and fraud is being uncovered by Elon Musk and DOGE on a gargantuan scale. Musk and his team are now investigating how so many politicians, almost exclusively Democrats, have become 'strangely wealthy' over the last few years.

"The world?s richest man is dying to figure out how lawmakers on Capitol Hill got ?strangely wealthy? despite their comparatively modest public salaries."

"The American economist Thomas Sowell once wrote: “People will forgive you for being wrong, but they will never forgive you for being right – especially if events prove you right while proving them wrong.”

So it seems with President Trump. He has been proven right about pretty much everything and now he is trying to do something about it, the elite is howling with indiscriminate outrage.

It turns out that the Paris Climate Accords led to unilateral economic disarmament in the West, especially in Britain; that China has proved to be a malevolent force and is now eating our lunch; that the overly draconian Covid lockdowns were a mistake; that the “swamp” or “deep state” – call it what you will – is a real threat and was subverting democracy; and that mass migration has been an economic and cultural disaster.

Trump is right that towns and cities have been hollowed out, on both sides of the Atlantic: places like Ohio and S****horpe have suffered, with closed industries leaving dilapidated town centres and a trail of social and drug problems in their wake."

Seems nothing but logical to me mein freund. Huge amounts of money and soldiers lost in pointless conflicts in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen etc. etc, and God knows how much is spent daily on equipping and financing the terrorist state that is ripping The Holy Land apart.

The Yanks should do what the Chinese do, spend the money on trying to do some good instead of being in a state of perpetual war.
