i had 10,710 ! but put it down as 10 710 i think that's why it wasn't pulled ! and it my closest guess ever !!!

Look at post 43 & I guessed at 10,649 (hit the wire) not that it matters but it wasn't picked up, must have been the way I posted it. COYP

I'm not blaming or having a dig at UTM he does a fantastic job and it's a bit off fun. personally I was chuffed I got so close as my guesses are normally a few hundred off. As for you AP you should be getting a Blue Peter badge for getting so close. Better still a jim fixed for me badge...!!

You posted "About 10,500 home fans + them so 10,649".
The software probably passed over it because there were two conflicting figures there. It's looking for one 5 figure number.

Yes, it will have read that as two separate figures 10 and 710, which wouldn't qualify as a gate prediction.

I also had a 5 digit guess that wasn?t picked up. Not a complaint but would like to know as it?s a bit of fun to see who?s nearest and how far off you are. (Note my guess was in the ?couldn?t hit barn door with banjo? territory).

No points at stake with attendances but your gate prediction should have been picked up.
The reason it wasn't is because the software was only stripping out the first comma from each line rather than all of them before looking for four or five figure numbers. I've now patched it, so it will work next time.
