He didn't say he'd spoken to the owners though. I DON'T think Maynard will be here next season.

So they bought a club about to go out of existence, have taken it from a total wreck to one that just failed in the playoffs and they should now be making public apologies to us. Are you for real?

The supporters were brilliant today but evident was that nobody sang Stuart Maynard's Black and White Army. Even at the end when fans stayed. It's clear that only the deluded few want him here next year. Out his depth and put of time
    Goodbye Stuart Little

I don't think the Bros will dismiss him. OK he may have failed in achieving some stat they required but I think they will take into consideration the squad injuries (and their own negative actions - Jan window/DC replacement).

Commercially, they'll have to. Fans are voting with their feet.
And the man that appointed him is gone.

    Maynards mentality

Today we had to give it a go we had no choice .Ok we may have lost by 3 or 4 but we lost anyway and never looked like scoring. He is obsessed with keeping possession as a defensive ploy but with that mentality how can we win the number of games required. I dont think it made any difference that Didsy and Jatta were not playing. He didnt play Jarvis who is an attacking threat and we didnt put people in the box. The guy was told to improve our defence which he has done but the cost is massive. Today i felt we never tried to win the game. Yes probably a lost cause but we didnt even try.

The aim at the start of the season was promotion.
That aim didn?t change throughout the season.
Yet, through no fault of the manger, the squad that finished this season is not a patch on what he had to work with going into the season.
If Maynard is sacked then so be it, but to lay blame with a manager that has had his best assets sold and replaced with players not even close to that quality, is naive and not seeing the bigger picture.
I accept we?re a buying and selling club, but this season has been one of selling. If the expectation level doesn?t shift with selling our best players, then any manager is going to fail.

Problem is, we've already sold 5,600 season tickets, commercially, people aren't voting with their feet

I'm not sure they are voting with their feet. Season ticket sales are good. Support has been steady and the fans have been and are brilliant. However, if allowed to continue his pedestrian, amateurish coaching they surely will!!!!!
