Hi mate yes. In a small town north of melbourne 3 hours from the city. The main thing to know about Australia is it's flat all round with very few mountain's and high terrain. And a huge desert which covers 3 quarters OF Australia. The weather is ridiculous we go from one extreme to another. Like the rest of the world some parts are badly flooding while others are dry and in drought. If your driving around expect to pay fees for using roads and if you happen to go into a national park expect to pay also. If you want to hang around the cities don't wear good clothes or you'll be robbed in an instant. If you catch a taxi the indians drivers will make sure you pay a little extra. And if you get an uber your luckily to be robbed and if a woman rapped. In the countryside where i live people wear the same clothes every day hardly wash and talk the same things every day than cya tomorrow only to go through the same thing. When you go to the big cities such as Melbourne and Sydney expect to see Indian cities where you will hardly find a white Australian person, in Queensland which is owned by Chinese all asians, Northern territory where the crocs rule the land or Perth where all the rich people live due to mining and normal people can't afford a house.
The only Decent part of Australia to go is Adelaide which is more of a european flavour but outside the city it's mainly all desert with currently they are having a big drought.Or beautiful Tasmania with it's beautiful mountains snow a beautiful travelling experience driving the whole island, small villages all around with outstanding scenery. The population of the whole island is only 580 k. The people aren't as friendly as other parts of australia And they are called the kissing cousins because of there inbreeding. As for lawlessness there is none it's a lawless country but you can't have your own weapons to protect yourself. Australia is not what it used to be when called the lucky country where westerners loved to call it home but now leaving in droves. Lastly the population mostly lives in the big cites as out of current 27 mil only 9 mil leave in the country side hence the big flavour of Indians Asians Muslims and Afrikaans ruling the main cities. Do I recommend it here if you want adventure you will find it here but you need eyes behind your back. If you want scenery like europe forget it. Beaches are riddled with diseases and if you don't know what to look for Rifts will make sure you stay here permanently.
I'm sorry to paint a bleak picture but it is reality and it only gets worse. Oz whites might have a different picture and trying to remember I think he is from Tasmania but my brain doesn't work like it used to, But I'm all ears and happy to help.
