Why keep DC who is stinking the place out when you can get 400k to use in the summer. Replacing any player in Jan at this level is hard never mind someone of that quality (the owners picked DC out of nowhere on a free 2 summers before btw).

I appreciate some of these decisions are massively big picture, but if we go up next season then there can be no argument.
Lots of what ifs there I mean all great managers have had good coaches around them ie Ferguson so leaving someone exposed and then saying he didnt achieve doesnt sit well with me.

I know Crowley had to go we replaced him with rookies.

No idea who they appoint but if the new recruitment team sign poor players or ones without tools we need then its not going to be easy.

Lets hope we are lucky as you need an element of that too.

Right decision again by the Bros, I think Maynard gave it his best shot but fell short of what's required to get a team promoted. Hopefully we see a replacement before the transfer window opens or we're facing a familiar problem of attracting the right players who want to know who they're coming to play for.
Doubtful it will be Williams but who knows, we know he can hold his own at this level but league 1 should we win promotion would be a struggle for him in my view.

Within 6 games of his Notts County stewardship i was critical of his appointment as to his ability to do the job required. It was a massive mistake by the Brothers who i admire greatly for saving this great Club. A continuation with the same Head Coach would most likely have been damaging to their investment in the Club and is something no supporter would want to see.

Think you've missed the point of my post. Not sure I mentioned anything about playing staff either?

You didnt but I dont think they were astute in terms of not giving him coaches basically put a laptop bloke on sidelines as his number 2.

Not exactly a winning formula in my view but we'll have to see what happens now.

I see rumours of Saunders brothers but there has been no clarity over why they left it is very odd.

I have apologised for my mistake - I am suitably mortified.
