We also had the disappointment of 1967 to remember.

That we beat them that day was wholly down to a talented and resilient XI doing exactly the individual and collective tasks given to them, and probably Celtic?s slight complacency.

    It was ****ing magic.
Yes it was...and we beat them at Parkhead 2-1 - not like you to get it wrong!

F*cking castle was shut. Wonder if the same thing happened to Quintus Lollius Urbicus

    The old mind?s going min.

In slight mitigation, I?m auld enough to have been at the 1967 final, my first time ever in Glasgow.

That was a **** of an afternoon. Nae leadership, as Turnbull had caught a bug two weeks before when in London for the England 2 Scotland 3 game, and was unable to leave his bed at Gleneagles. The team was lost withoot him.

I can see a good omen here and the stars aligning.
They will likely open with three minute hero and close with too much pressure.
What we are looking for is for "three minute hero" who can handle "too much pressure" to come off the bench grab the winner.....

    Happy days.

Just back from The Selecter gig and WOW.
Three Minute Hero was the second track and finished on Too Much Pressure.

Pauline Black, what a woman and looking in excellent nick in her 72nd year.

What a way to set myself up for the game tomorrow.

    Doubt I'll sleep much tonight.

Well this is it, game day!

Do us proud boys and become the latest Dons player to write their names in the history books.

    Let's do it.

    Heid first into them.

Dabbagh to channel his inner Stan Williams/Derek McKay, scoring in the quarter and semi final and getting the winner in the final.

Great stuff DD glad you enjoyed the gig pal.
One of my all time favorite bands, fkn loved them from mid to late 70's into early 80's the were fkn brilliant (my opinion)
Who is going to come of the bench today and be our 3 minute hero grabbing the winner.
The stage is set for Okkels to do that 😂
