    O/T Factoid of the day

Here's some info you may not be aware of.....

Not many people know this but, Paul and Barry Chuckle once won first prize at The Rotherham Country Show for the biggest sheep, with their two - metre ewe.

    Here's another.....

Giraffes are 30 times more likely to get hit by lightning than people. True, there are only five well-documented fatal lightning strikes on giraffes between 1996 and 2010. But due to the population of the species being just 140,000 during this time, it makes for about 0.003 lightning deaths per thousand giraffes each year. This is 30 times the equivalent fatality rate for humans.

This one is interesting to me. I was just looking through the houses that are up for sale/pending sale in our neighbourhood and came across a strange one because it seemed very old fashioned and overpriced compared to its competition. Looking at the listing in more detail I found the house's previous owner was this gentlemen.

The sale on the house is pending so maybe a Bruce Lee fan has bought it?

    Bananas are radioactive:

Bananas contain a small amount of a radioactive element called potassium-40.

Well I never, funny how monkeys don't glow in the dark though.
