yeah I saw that yesterday - Oliver Goodbrand.

Oliver Goodbrand set for Newcastle medical
Youth sensation Oliver Goodbrand looks to be on his way out of Rangers, too, having booked a medical with Newcastle United.

The 16-year-old broke into Rangers B team this season, but it looks like he won’t be around long enough to make a senior appearance.

Apparently there's another one too, a defender we're interested in.

Signing youth is the best (only?) way for us to get around PSR. When you think that all clubs know this it makes you wonder how were managing to acquire all these young talents. Clubs doing a great job here and all we need to do is show some patience.

Certain clubs have always had great academies. West Ham and Southampton both come to mind.

The bigger clubs have been farming talent for cash for donkey's years. Chelsea most notably. They've made hundreds of millions from selling players that never got a sniff at first team football.

Is it ethical? Well the youth players get a first class education and development. Coming through at Chelsea means you're gonna be a pro even if at lower league level, but you're good enough for a top League 1 team at the very least.

City are an embarrassment of riches. The insane talent coming out of Ashton New Road is crazy.

Foden, Palmer are absolutely elite level England players.

Palmer is the perfect example of pure profit from the academy.
