Mee and Tarkowski were totally different cases ------they left when we had been relegated and got themselves very good deals.
I don't blame Josh at all, he did a lot to get us promoted but is still not valued.
I value him Sub just not at 80k a week - he?s been a good servant to Burnley and his predicament is last decent contract etc / signing on fee ( i put on another thread ) so to look after his family maybe he has to go.

I do think he falls right in the category of a v good championship player and maybe not quite good enough at the higher level ( otherwise he?d have gone before now and we?d have made good money on him ).

Decent footballer who excelled last season imo given freedom to play in the hole - it?s my opinion though that Hannibal is a much more gifted footballer and could also play that position.

We could debate all day but reality is the league we are going to is brutal and requires top athletes who rightly or wrongly warrant 50/60 /80 million price tags and whoever we have will have to be exceptional in this next year - I?m in the ballcock camp though in that we need bigger stronger physical boys to compete as that?s what we?ll be facing every week and I don?t think Josh fits that profile.

Does anybody think we could get Ross Barkley on a loan like Luton did.He would be ideal.

I'd go down and pick him up myself if he'd sign for us, he's not been starting for Villa so it could be a possibility. Would Mr Pace be interested though ?

His salary could be a problem.
It wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't on over 100k a week

Luton managed it Mr B, when they were in the Championship, so I'm assuming we could fund it given the PL money.

I presume his current contract finishes next Monday so presumably he will then be officially a free agent to move on. Has done some great things in our Championship winning teams but is seeminglynot interested in playing for us in the PL this time around. No bad feeling if he leaves but the grass is not always greener away from the Turf.

A no-brainer for me sinkov. He played and looked like a full England international when he was at Luton. Just do it!
