GUNTERYY36, I think he only posts on here when we are in the same league?

It's interesting, what is the formula to having a busy forum? Obviously dcfcfans is the biggest and most popular. OT subjects are restricted there, is that what makes it work? Does the animosity created over politics etc ultimately put people off?

I assume those that have left here have gone there mostly.

I looked dcfc fans and IMHO it's living proof that big is not beautiful. It lacks democracy and is ruled by a clique who block anything they don't like a few years back I posted something vaguely critical of them CEO Morris which was almost instantly deleted. I thought I'd screwed up the post so rewrote and reposted it. It was again deleted and I was threatened with suspension / ban. Not bothered posting since. Look sometimes but seems full of circle jerks and an unhealthy worship of an individual called B4.

No thanks, sooner a bitchy infight here than that place.

They were very careful what they allowed about Mel. Mel was a lurker on there and would have a direct line if someone posted something that he considered was on dodgy ground.

I have no issue with B4 , he was a very passionate individual who lived for Derby County, he had a lot of health issues and is no longer with us. He was popular and rightly so.

I'm actually banned over there, in my opinion unfairly so but that's a long story.

So, a few days late but I thought I'd share something about Saturdays result. I got a mixed reaction off X, which is understandable but I was, in part, responding to the usual overreaction that comes after every defeat.

The point I made was that I'd predicted a defeat, by two goals, probably 2-0. I also predicted a poor performance from Derby, based on the previous two games etc.

So I was far happier with the performance, and (more controversially) happier with a 3-5 defeat that my expected 0-2. Same goal difference but 3 goals scored. But some online felt I was missing some brain cells for thinking that.

It's a sound theory as losing 3-5 suggests we gave them a game more than 0-2 and of course for periods we did.

Plus if positions come down to GS better to lose 3-5

I do go on Twitter but only to lurk. It's a cesspool.

I don’t know if that really is Ramondo and I’m not playing that game other than to say, hope it is, hope you stick around and I agree with that very sensible post.
