I wondered also if ref had just mistakenly flashed red without the second yellow first. Could work in our favour as sure you can't appeal yellows.

To me that was actually the keepers worst mistake, definitely most costly in changing the momentum of the game. I will never for the life of me understand why goalkeepers play a ball to a defender with his back to goal when being marked. Nuts. Jim McLean used to get likes of Davie Dodds to press high up pitch, and his reasoning was simple, if Dave narey won the ball, he'd still have to beat 6 players to score,Davie Dodds does it he is in on goal.

Im assuming you are saying that the second goal was the worst mistake by the keeper? Im in agreement with that myself as it happens. It was a suicidal pass but also Sevelj was definitely fouled so the goal should never have stood anyway, but the red card was at the penalty incident so had nothing to do with that. Incidentally Dimwit Gallagher on ref watch was adamant, to the point of handbags almost, that it was a clear red card. Refs sticking together, what a f*cking surprise!

I may be way behind the times here, but I'm sure I remember there being a rule saying that you can only appeal a red card if it was awarded for violent conduct, like a bad tackle, elbow, etc. There is/was no scope for appealing if it was for hand ball.

As I say, this was a while ago so it my have changed by now.

More than likely it has changed - it was a few years ago and they're changing stuff all the time.

Glad to hear the appeal is in and hopefully it is successful, although based on previous experience...

Im not holding my breath with these corrupt c*nts tbh. At very best they will downgrade it to a yellow which means he'll miss the sheep game anyway. The bent b*stards at the SFA will see this as a win for everyone and f*ck Dundee United once again. For reference watch the end of the Burnley v Liverpool game yesterday, boy sticks his elbow out deliberately to divert the ball, clear penalty given but no card at all. Our officials just ruin the game as a competitive sport. That was a cracking game on Saturday thats once again been overshadowed by these useless cheating c*nts.

Also, it's the best game I've watched since the Rapid Vienna tie and the overwhelming difference is that we hardly noticed the officials in those games, penalty apart obviously which was dealt with properly.

No. Yesterday is the first time it's really been his fault, but on the balance of play and all things being fair he kept us in the game several times too. If he was perfect he'd not be playing for us would he? Also lets not forget the blatant cheatery from the officials, without which we would have won anyway. Also worth noting that Luca was a good save away from a hat trick that probably would have won us the game despite everything else.
Last season folk were moaning about our shyte style of play despite us getting plenty of clean sheets and finishing 4th. Some people will just never be happy
Not blaming everything on the goalkeeper hence the phrase DEFENSIVE SLOPPINESS but he has flapped at quite a few crosses and got away with it in other games.

Apart from a clean sheet against an absolute ****e FUN attack and 2 clean sheets v the Luxembourg butchers, bakers and candlestick makers we're shipping goals for fun so its great that we are also scoring goals for fun because we really really need these goals to even earn a point.

Never once did I moan or complain about us ever being too defensive. Not last season or any other season.

I think Scottish clubs should get rid of Scottish officials. We were due to be officiated by foreign officials but our game was snowed off a number of years ago. If these officials won't get better why not go for the alternative and say sod it we'll bring in foreign officials. No harm in trying to improve the game for the better. Might even show the clowns at the SFA and SPFL up.

Last season we play defensive football, look to nick games 1-0. "Boring turgid Goodwinball"

This season we sign some of the best footballing talents we've seen in decades, a goalpost from knocking Rapid Vienna out, cruise the Derby, play some very exciting football. "Get that keeper tae feck"
