Twice as many passes, twice as much possession.

    Tells its own story, really.

You associate Barcelona more with their attacking players but they've actually defended very well.

We deserved that goal to be honest.

A 1-2 defeat to Barca isn't the worst result in the world.

We can certainly beat teams in this comp.

I could predict this game, step by step, after watching the first 20 min.

I cant see many goals in this team.

I see where you're coming from, but don't really agree. Once Wissa is back and Woltemade is fully up to speed with what Eddie wants, then I think we'll have plenty of teeth up front.

Well we had a fast start in the CL last time and fell away so hopefully we can grow into the competition more this time.
No complaints tonight as we were second best but we could?ve caused an upset if we?d taken an early chance - Barnes did nowt wrong with his shot but Gordon ??

I wonder if we?ll ever have a team that plays like Barcelona? Our style seems a million miles from theirs. I thought their defensive performance throughout the team was pretty amazing tonight.

I love our style of play - when we are on top of it.

But yes, it can sometimes look just a bit desperate at times.

We for it to work in front of goal we just need a striker who instinctively sticks out his leg and guides the ball home.

Gordon is great, but that is not his game, he is so much better coming in from the left. But we have 2 new boys coming in, so fingers crossed 🤞

I understand Woltermade not starting, he?s our only striker available for the prem - but my word did we need him on in the first 20 mins.

Looking like we will be missing Schar on the weekend so will get to see what Thiaw is made of .

I'm glad Gordon got a goal, even if he's not our future number nine. That will do him a world of good after what was honestly an embarrassing miss in the first half.

Barca are a much better team in many regards, their defending was exceptionally good. Kound? blocked everything on the right, great player.

I don't think we need to feel bad at that, we took one of the favourites all the way. In the end their CL game experience and a thunderstrike of a goal saw them win.

We will win games in this league format.

100% Jammy. This was one of the semi finalists last year and a creditable result in the cold light of day. Why did it have to be Rashford though!!
