The Trump administration has designated “antifa,” which is not an actual, coherent group, as a domestic terrorist organization, a dubious legal move that experts warn is an attempt to restrict the First Amendment rights of leftists and others critical of the administration.

He’s insane—& insanely power hungry. The script is set—call an imaginary group a terror group and then send in the troops.” It's what Hitler did.

The latest Lefty deflection tactic, an obnoxious, violent group of extremists are giving the Left a bad name, so pretend they don't exist.

Come on mon ami, the internet and YouTube have been around a long time now, you know that, I've been watching the rioting outside the ICE building in Portland on a nightly basis this summer, I've been watching YouTube bloggers being attacked by Antifa, calling the police and being told they're on their own, I've watched desperate local residents screaming at the demonstrators to feck off and let them get some sleep, I've watched the ICE agents, leaving at the end of their shift being, being followed and abused by Antifa thugs. One thing I haven't seen is the Portland Police, they are prohibited from going near the place.

US President Donald Trump has said signed an executive order designating Antifa as a "domestic terrorist organisation".

He has accused the group of recruiting, training and radicalising young Americans to engage in political violence.

Antifa - a loosely organised, leftist movement that opposes far-right, racist and fascist groups - has long attracted Trump's ire.

But experts have questioned how the president will actually target the group, which lacks a distinct leader, membership list or structure. In 2020, then-FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress that Antifa was better defined as an ideology than as a formal organisation.

Antifa has remained a popular touchstone for some right-wing influencers and politicians who argue that it is a key component of a left-wing network they claim is seeking to undermine the US, free speech and gun rights.

Sitting in a deck chair ,but not needed here, when there is sunshine 7-8 or more months of the year.
Israel experiences plentiful sunshine, with cities like Tel Aviv averaging around 300 sunny days a year and enjoying long daylight hours in the summer. The White House is backing a plan that would see Tony Blair head a temporary administration of the Gaza Strip – initially without the direct involvement of the Palestinian Authority (PA), according to Israeli media reports.

Under the proposal, Blair would lead a body called the Gaza International Transitional Authority (Gita) that would have a mandate to be Gaza’s “supreme political and legal authority” for as long as five years.

I am not sure whether it will be Trump’s so called Board of Peace or the GITA that will have overall authority but they could have found the perfect git to run the latter. I was never a fan of the smarmy Blair and he made a fatal error when he became Bush’s poodle. Trump may have found the ideal candidate to do his bidding.
