    Michael Stewart appreciation thread

This guy absolutely f*cking hates us and is incapable of hiding it. Should never ever be allowed to be a pundit when he displays such utter and unblinkered bias on the air. Even the sportscene crew think he's a f*cking joke!
It's time the c*nt was put out to pasture.

" Anyone who knows anything about football knows thats not a penalty " you sure about that Michael? 🤔

I don't think he hates Utd tbf, he just likes an argument and then can't admit when he's wrong.

He's making a right tit of himself with this one though.

I've never been aware of any anti-United sentiment from him. I have from others, like Alan Peston for example.

Stewart is very opinionated and argumentative and, in this case, I think he's got it wrong and he is making a t1t of himself as Terry says. I think he has a general agenda against VAR in it's current format (as a lot of people do) and he has been overly vociferous in criticising this decision in this particular incident, perhaps before seeing all the angles and slow motion replays. When he has seen it, his ego won't allow him to change his mind and back down, so instead he doubles down.

I think it's an ego thing, as oppose to a dislike for any particular club. He's a Hearts man and makes no secret of that, but he had just as much to say, if not more, about the incident in the Falkirk v Dundee game.
