My wife has that SAD thing. I have lived in the Midwest US all my life and we go through long periods of no direct sunlight. I was totally oblivious to it until one day after a long Indiana February of little or no su I inquired "what crawled up your behind". She blew up and said "how can you stand the fact the sun hasn't shown for weeks. I advised her I hadn't noticed which set her off even more!

I don't ride my cycle in late fall or winter so I really don't pay much attention but now I'm extra careful to breathe quietly along with making sure I'm invisible as possible. 44 years of living with someone. It really is strange to me since in the Midwest if you don't like the weather just wait a couple of days and it will be different! Love the change of seasons and the fact rain and snow make things grow and green. I'm not fond of areas that don't have rain or green growth. Much of the western part of our country is arid and dry with lots of brown and rocks as well as stuff that has needles, thorns and poisons in them! I think Australia has that as well.

Seriously, I do think it's a legitimate thing for a lot of people. Only oblivious people like me don't seem to be bothered. I used to love playing football in rain and boggy pitch. I was a garbage goaler. It's a great equalizer against a superior defender.

he actually almost had a brace! That was a brilliant run and the shot was so close. Would be wonderful if that becomes a turning point for him. If I was coach I'd put him in and tell him "more of the same". He had a very good game.

His best game for us by a mile. He's still a lightweight with (usually) no end product but, hopefully, you are right and this becomes a turning point.

I won't be holding my breath ...
