The mileage our midfield are putting in is remarkable. Not only mileage but creative output and if we had more movement up front I'm sure we could have got maximum 6 points on the last two away games. That is not to criticise Jordan up front, because he gave everything he could, considering his damaged ankle. What a star.I think if Whatmore is fit and willing to play for us it would be an excellent addition while Nombe is out.We are improving each match.Well done Hammy.

I hope we build on this and don?t screw it up in the January window, I think it would be great to hear from the owner he is very quiet in this centenary year
Too busy making money out of the year.

It isn?t threadbare, most of what is injured or out of the side - would drag the performance down??no one seems to cotton on to that.

Only holmes and a fit nombe would improve it. No side can go 8 unbeaten and be threadbare. People like jules and raggett etete sharif need to go.

But the wrong ones may go…..

Get Gore signed up permanently now. We messed about with Barlaser and nearly lost him.

Can't see us getting Gore permanent. Martha seen late chance he had at Reading either he's not a goalscorer or it fell on his wrong foot? Though he scored with it last home game but didn't have time to think about it which helped.

RU66, the obvious lean on/shove from their defender drove him further wide and away from their goal, hence when it came to taking the shot he was off balance and too wide to hit it on target. Good defending or a foul, you decide?

He took the choice to stay on his feet and attempt to score where others would have gone down in a flash claiming a penalty.

No chance he will be on double our top earner, we can?t afford him.

Some said the same about Barlaser from Newcastle, "We'll never get him",.We were given a big % selling on fee from NUFC that we had to pay ,we could do something similar with Gore. The midfield we have at present must be the best in this division, let's build on that and celebrate our centenary year.

Totally different. Gore is a lot younger and up n coming. Barlaser had several years and was getting nowhere at Newcastle
