Thread: Striker rumours

Rumours…..that is all they are. MH, how many he wants in, in jan. I wonder what the real number he will be able to bring in will be….top of the shop should be a good keeper. That will save 10 extra points easy.

At the end of the season, 20 players are out of contract, give it some patience and time, and that means leaving Hugill here til then. Hamshaw will then have the cleanest slate possible to rebuild his team.

IF we bring in two new forwards in January to bolster our front line, I don't think we will be strong enough to push on for a late play off place. Also I wouldn't want to go up with what would be a near on new team that hasn't played together before.
A clean slate you say? But will he be given enough chalk? Remember he brought in a fair number in the summer. Fancy interplay at times is all we mainly have, not enough finishing, poor defending from most, and in the last two home games some dire passing. Jykll and Hyde team.

Kelly, Raggett and potentially Nombe are likely candidates, just like the sale of Bramall came out of the blue. I think this is a very important window for us, you might disagree.
I would sooner we have 2 signings who are available for selection for 100% of the season than 4 players who are on the treatment table for 75% of the season. So yep. I disagree we are weakening loosing 3, 4 ,5 players and gaining 2, 3 ect

A lot of these players mentioned in this tread are still on contracts wont don't run out until the summer. They won't move unless it suits them.

Some of them will be on decent money when SE spent nearly all this years budget add to last years. Kelly, Jules, Ragget, Dawson, James, Rafferty.......................summer will be interesting.

No brainer for me. He needs to be playing and he'd be guaranteed games here, wouldn't need to relocate etc. Would be a great loan signing for us.

What have you heard, anything concrete or just rumour?

Ross, I'll throw one in for you and it may well come off.

Ryan One', pronounced Owny. A promising young Scottish forward known for his physical presence, technical skill, and eye for goal, who joined the club from Hamilton Academical in 2023 and has since progressed from the youth ranks to the first team, scoring his first senior goal in late 2024.

Wilder is looking to get him some game time and if the other rumour is correct it would A.N.other also from the Blades but unsure which player that is. Like you asked and like I've posted, only a rumour up to now.

A mate of mine who supports Sheffield United text me this morning to say it?s a done deal.

One needs some minutes on the pitch.
