Give it 3-5 years and Wednesday will be in the Championship maybe pushing for promotion and we?ll be slumming it in league 2.

Cayton, this has already been well discussed on Football Heaven. The way this is falling, Mike Ashley has made noises he's willing to take a -15 point deduction as it will then give him the opportunity to spend say 25-30 mill on the club and its infrastructure, ground, players, job lot.
The alternative would be to pay say 50-60 Mill to buy the club then pick up all the infrastructure etc that may well end up costing upwards of 100 mill to turn the club around, which we all know Ashley simply will not do.
You have to feel for the creditors only getting 25p in the pound if it goes Ashley's way. Personally, I think it's a good model. He's not responsible for what has previously happened and yes, he shouldn't have to pick up a previous owners debt. He's a businessman and a damn good one at that. He didn't become a multi millionaire being soft.
Start with that model and in 2 years time, Weds will be right back up there with a probable new stand, revamped stadium, excellent training facilities and a team to challenge anyone.
