3-1 home win I fear, although, as the year comes to a close, be more than happy with one more point and some early January midfield strengthening, possibly a young Dane via Germany. Anything more would be a bonus.

Frustrating. Probably deserved a point, but too lightweight in midfield and untypically ponderous in defence.
Most disappointing for me, we brought on five subs, three with enough time to make a difference, and not one of them had any impact whatsoever.
Sure that without our injuries we’d have done better than the 5-2 aggregate defeats against Leicester but I suppose we’re still just two points behind a club we were light years behind not so long ago.

Several instances of Foxes delaying a quick throw/free kick. Ref did nowt. 1st goal, low pass in the box to an unmarked player. Shouldn't happen but it did. Equaliser, idem ditto except this one went in off a Fox leg. Their 2nd, long, hopeful ball over the top, James faster and stronger than Tommo who was chasing the man Sanderson should have been on. Good finish.

Subs brought us no joy as has already been said but they got no decent ball. Late shot from Weimann that went just wide, evaded Savesen's foot by inches. So close but no cigar.

Insufficient inventiveness in our attacks.Ponderous at the back playing far too many side and back wards balls. The cause? Insufficient movement ahead into space leaving the defender in possession to give it either to another defender or the keeper.

Felt for Elder. So often he did find space out wide but never got the ball.

Diaz? Yet again he ran a lot but what did he actually achieve? IMO, nothing. That is exactly what he has contributed all season except for that one worldy. Time for change. JE says the lad's confidence is shot. As if playing poorly game after gane is going to improve that. With the available players, Brewster out right, Aggy left and Lars through the middle.

Ward back on New year's Day. I want the following:

    JWZ
    Langas Nelson Clarke
    Ward Tommo Clark Elder
    Brewster Salvesen Agyemang

    I think we'll get
    JWZ
    Langas Sanderson Clarke
    Ward Travis Adams Elder
    Diaz Brewster Aggy

Both sides were ordinary to say the least. We couldn't have kicked our way out of a paper bag whilst the fact that they were in the PL is a joke.
Crap game from two crap teams!!
