Lets be honest here, due to our own failings Dundee won every 2nd ball and should have been out of sight 1st half.
Agree that Bert's decision making was extremely poor, Iovu rightly took a yellow to save a Bert poor pass decision.
Graham on for Bert made a difference but Pressley had his lead and wanted to keep it. Having more of the 2nd half was down to a combination of this.
However overall, a lot of players are making poor decisions and/or mis placing passes, giving opponents easy possession.
Worse than Sunday league sometimes and puts the team under needless pressure.
The club have brought in players, some looked decent and some needed time.
Setting up to play to our strengths is on Jim, coaching and motivating players to give 100% for the 90+ mins, especially in key games, is on Jim and his backroom team.
This has been a rinse and repeat for too long, this needs to improve big time and quickly.
For continuity I hope it works out for Jim but I have my doubts.
The best we could have got in The Derby is a 0-0 draw but in all fairness we never deserved it and the result was about right. Our form at home this season would have cost some previous managers their jobs. Its worth remembering this was the first Funster victory on the road this season.
A game that stick's out a mile this season is Sheep 4 Fun 0,this game took place in October and up till then The Sheep had failed to score a single goal in the league. That shows just how FN bad we were last week,Goodwin is getting off very lightly because that result against that Dundee side is unacceptable.
The galling thing about our club is that our support has been fantastic for the past few seasons but everytime our players get a chance to put on a performance for the fans...they cr4p in our hands and ask us to clap. I can't remember the last game that we played with the right intensity for 90 minutes and every player played to their capability.
Does Bert fcuk up tho ADS ? We were playing a very dangerous high line, and once Pan's skyter went in behind against him, there was only one outcome. He couldn't even get sent aff coz he was too slow.
In saying that... that goal apert... I'd never play him again. For ump t e e n reasons.
Hate saying this.... JG (who I don't want sacked) things HAVE to change pretty quickly or we may be in different battle than where we thought we might be.
First time in years I'm contemplating not renewing my season ticket. (and that is not a Goodthing)...(pun intended)
One thing I would like to highlight is how Goodwin and managers play players who aren't match fit and wonder why we don't win? Camara is a good player, playing him when not fit is on Goodwin. Also this three at the back, has Goodwin been renewing his coaching badges at Largs and this is the new in thing?
After watching St Johnstone v United in pre-season I said Esselink was a good a player as Siggi Jonsson or Ed Machin. I would like to offer an apology to both of them as Esselink couldnae lace their boots. However, Goodwin saying Esselink is the experienced one to help out Iovu & KK was not helping the guy. I said we needed a Scottish centre-half with experience and I named the injury prone Mikey Devlin as an option.
I gave up my season ticket a number of years ago. Kick off times was the main reason but this parking situation has made me more than ever think phuck that.
