Would love it if Andy Burnham resigned as Mayor of Manchester to stand in the Gorton by-election and then lost to Reform. Even if he should win the seat the prospect of him undermining the jellyfish Starmer by his presence in the Commons would be something of a consolation.

No he didn't. Any PM worth their salt would have called him out about his remarks about the Afghanistan conflict and told him exactly that the UK lost about the same number of troops per capita of population as the US, which has five times the population of the UK.

In view of their moving the goalposts about the age of Reservists being called up because they can't recruit people, I have been checking to see whether they are likely to extend it to 79 years old Veterans.

I would say about 90 per cent of what I read and hear about the USA is from TDS infected Lefty sources, 5 per cent from those simply critical of Trump and 5 per cent are perhaps favourable towards him. Given the media bias, which Trump himself often refers to, it's no wonder it seems that so many are against him, of course it seems that way, that's how it must seem when you exist in a left wing bubble, but 77 million Americans voted for Trump, do their voices not count ? They must not, you never hear them in the media, but then, why should you, they are deplorables after all.
