Its over. Not much more to play for.
So what went wrong?
D!ck face no14 of course. I thought we did well after we had to sell, but it turns out we did shoite.
Premiership proven bollox, one hit wonders, Wissa and Elanga are feckin awful signings. Like really poor. Nothing near good enough.
Woltemade, decent but looking more and more like Ameobi.
Ramsey, Willock a few season ago wad just as good.
Thiaw, looking decent but too many errors for my liking. At least one big error in each game.
So to sum it up, we have signed some shoite players, that we will have to struggle with for years to come.
We do need a fresh start, no doubt.
I read more and more social feeds blaming it on Howe. Im not that sure, although I was about to start similar thread.
I look no further than some swede striker departure that had massive impact on team morale.
First of all, the way it dragged through the summer, blew the whole thing out the proportion. It was a big deal, but it ended up like life or death case.
Second, I think it made some players second-guessing themselves - is it the right club for my career? Will I be here 2-3 years from now? Is Carabao Cup the teams ceiling? Gordon comes to mind as an example. May be Tonali.
Third, it definitely split the camp.
Add to that new signings, who had big shoes to fill
If we had RW firing from the start of the season, decent striker, I have no doubt we would be sitting at Villas place
I think both Voldermort and Elanga will come good, I think Elanga is being to turn a corner. Thought he was our best wide player today.
I think, he gets a goal and his confidence will soar back.
We must stop buying these shoite players from other PL teams, thinking they are PL proven. One good season and you have proved it? Bull shoite.
Our best players, Hall and Tino excepted, have come from overseas-Bruno, Tonali, Botman, Thiaw...cough...the Rat.
I don't know why we were so intent on Wissa and Elanga, for example.
Man U, Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Arsenal will continue to sign all our targets in foreseeable future. All because of the corrupt rules of course.
We need to go back to signing young gems like Hall and Livramento, and identify talent like Bruno from the continent. And stop signing overpriced mediocre players like Wissa, Elanga and Ramsey.
Weird, this ste now won't let you post "f o o k e d" (without the spaces, obvs)
WTF?
