Chris Ryan books. Working my way through them all. Fast paced and loads of plot twists.

I?m currently reading a book called The Subtke Art of Not Giving a F@ck.

It?s doing wonders for my mental well being.

I highly recommend it to anyone that has had any type of low mood.

    A.J Quinell. The Creasy Series.

If you have ever seen man on fire, the denzel Washington film, the 5 book series is excellent and worth a read.

Also like the Dexter series of books by Jeff Lindsay.

    Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie series.

    Colin Dexter's original Morse books.

Henry Williamson's "A Chronicle of Ancient Sunlight". (You have to get past his very misguided support of Oswald Mosely and the UK Fascist movement but his descriptions of soldiering in the First World War are second to none.)

    Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series.

(And I'd add Richmal Crompton's 'William' books to the Under 10s suggestions form ragingpup!)

The Ben Elton books are great, especially 'The Last Casualty '. Also the Richard Osman series 'Thursday Murder Club '.
