I wouldn't be too sure of that Roly. Sinn Fein appear to be preparing to throw a grenade into the works. They said they would never take their seats in Parliament because to do so requires them to swear an Oath of Allegiance to The Queen so their 7 seats have not been taken into consideration in calculating that the Tories/DUP have a 2 seat majority. Now it seems that the Oath is an acceptable price to pay to stop DUP being involved in the UK government.

The Tories and Labour are having what were secret talks. Corbyn is thought to want to Leave and he cannot fulfil a key part of his Manifesto - the re-nationalisation of the railways, water, electricity and so on - whilst we are a member of the EU because the rules forbid it.

Nobody outside of those directly involved knows what is being said but I would have thought there will be some sort of an agreement between the Parties to work together to see Brexit through and then fight out a general election straight away.

Corbyn would come out of such an arrangement very well because he would be seen to put the national interest first and it will strengthen the UK's negotiating hand with the EU. The two Parties having sensible debates on the issues can only be good for the country.
