Because as it stands and has stood for a while, attempts have been made but too much of all kinds of spanners went into the works from all avenues that seemed to scupper any meaningful progress.
Ashley takes some blame but there's an equal portion attributed to the many other issues, including the fans, I might add.
Collectively we are our own worst enemies throughout this club from inside and out and not to mention the enemies that aren't part of it but are certainly complicit in ensuring it does not move too far forward.

The awful football, is down to an awful manager. Get rid of him and get in a manager that can give and command respect and who will play football as we know we want it played...and bingo...he will get funds and extras (i believe) for doing what a manager should be doing.

Nobody in their right mind would give a manager who plays dire football and won't commit, money in the vein it's expected. Not a chance....I hope.
