Anyone who watched the antics the other night when parliament was closed just shows what these yobbos really are. 70 odd grand a year + perks for that sort of behaviour. A wonderful way to demonstrate to the world that us Brits have no class whatsoever, John "I like the sound of my own voice" Bercow is a disgusting example of a self promoting pontificating prat. Stepping down with a million quid pension as soon as he knew the Tories would oppose his parliamentary seat... a big man eh? As said Skatorna ... clear the swamp of these ineffectual tossers ...... but at least Bercow won't get his peerage.
As annoying as John Bercow is, the Conservatives have only got themselves to blame for allowing people like him to attain positions of influence first within the party and then within Parliament over many years. There's no point allowing these fairly poorly disguised imposters into your midst and then complaining when they show their true, self-serving colours. It was predictable and inevitable.

The definition of "broad church" was strained beyond breaking point to allow the likes of Anna Soubry to stand on a Tory ticket, and their subsequent treachery was entirely to be expected. Cameron's A-list was awash with these imposters, which is hardly surprising because Cameron himself was an imposter.

Ironically, the only solace for the Conservatives is that the Labour Party has been just as gullible and just as weakened by its own raft of plastic Socialists. Their process of purging themselves began a considerable time before the Conservatives' equivalent action, but it's fair to say that after the General Election, no matter what precise number of MPs they have, both the Conservative and Labour parties should look more like their old right-wing and left-wing selves than they have for many years.
