For what it's worth, I think the ref just wanted to even it up. He got it wrong by allowing QPR's goal, but would have had a chance to have a re-look at it at half time. Exactly the same as what happened to us at Derby when Gibbs was unfairly penalised. The problem is that at times referees "guess" too much, which leads to wrong decisions.
