They bought the world's most expensive defender. If that's not similar to what Chelsea or City would do, I don't know what is.

I agree that Liverpool haven't bought their way to success to the same degree (and they haven't had a lot of success over the past two, even three decades apart from a few exceptions), but let's not pretend that they aren't spending to get to where they are at.

I do like Liverpool more than a lot of other clubs. I think they are similar to us in many ways, and their manager is admirable.

At the same time, they are starting to remind of Man Utd when I hated them the most. Their fans are, it seems to me, getting cocky and arrogant, and even during this incredible run they're on Klopp still seems to have a go at the referee constantly.
